Sammy,
>How are you trying to close the error window?
The wrong way, I'm afraid:
from inside
Close Window from inside
Neither works, and the help available with F1 doesn't mention
closing the error window. It seems that help is part of the main
help file:
Help("Compile from list") (from compile.s)
Maybe a reference to could be added now that the
help file text is being woked on?
>Ideally, how would you like to be able to close the error
>window?
Well, unfortunately the definition of "ideally" tends to be
change from user to user: what feels intuitive to one seems
absurd to another.
The "One Window" command, , honestly, I
think I have
never used once since I bought my first Qedit for Dos. Always
managed with Open Window, Close Window, Split Window, and Zoom.
So the "One Window" solution came as a complete surprise, though
it has some logic to it. Habit-induced blindness?
