well... i suppose the title isn't quite what i'm getting at. i don't
necessarily want a mysql library, because i don't want to have to run a
server for the program i am going to build. i was just wondering if anyone
had a good sql library for c++ to reccommend that is fast and not too bulky?

i have decided that flat files are a thing of the past.
