JB> I think you need to post an example with more flesh. Therein lies a problem. The code is hundreds of lines long and it's encased in a Windows program. Yes, I'm aware that I could CSPLIT it and post it in several parts but sheesh, I'm convinced that there's got to be a "simple" solution. The situation is that I wish to create the object in a member function. Then I need to manipulate the data in an unrelated class WITHOUT creating a new object in that unrelated class. I thought that I could succeed by passing pointers to the original class, but...
