| subject: | [TSEPro] something to put on the TSE wish list |

I would like it if TSE provided a certain number of global
variables for use of the user which are saved in TSEstate.dat,
provided of course that SaveState is turned on. Say, for
example, string variables:
_USERVAR0_, ..., _USERVAR9_
It is far from the end of the world that it does not, because it
is always possible to create an auxiliary file to put the
information in and build macros for reading/writing to the
auxiliary file. This is my current technique.
Another option would be the ability to declare a global variable
"persistent" (or some such name), which would mean that it would
be saved in TSEstate.dat and restored on startup.
I am posting this "wish" to find out 1) if there is some good way
to do this that I haven't thought of; and 2) if anyone else would
like the same feature.
