In Kentucky shooting a gun up in the air is considered felony wanton
endangerment. We had an instance where a baby was killed by someone shooting
up in the air on a new years night.

Strangely enough we have a law on the book about warning shots... even with the
police... if you are going to shoot you better mean it. If you say I fired a
warning shot in court you get a wanton endangerment charge. Even the law
enforcement must shoot center mass.
