I must be getting old....

I've been using the ldflist macro "manually", with a .bat file
calling e to
open a list of files for the whole project. I can't believe I didn't think
of it as a solution for this. (Probably because I forgot about the /b
param on "dir". Too much windoze!) :)

So, I will just modify your suggestion slightly, replacing the
"*.txt" with
"%1", and adding a few "if" options to handle multiple
filespecs.  Now it
looks like:

*************************************
dir %1 /o /b > c:\temp\tmpflist.txt

if %2x==x goto end
dir %2 /o /b >> c:\temp\tmpflist.txt

if %3x==x goto end
dir %3 /o /b >> c:\temp\tmpflist.txt

:end
e -eldflist c:\temp\tmpflist.txt
*************************************

This works pretty much the way I want. Now, if we could just modify the
ldflist.mac to issue a "next file in ring" command after it finished
opening all of the files....

Thanks.
