Aaaaacccctually, the console portion of the app specifically DOESN'T
use Quartz to render the text/ascii - it uses QuickDraw in OS X, which is a
bit faster than Quartz.  Not to mention that I didn't want to anti-alias
anything coming from the serer because anti-aliased ANSI graphics look pretty
crappy :)
