I have been so worn out the last couple of weeks that all I could do was
go to work and come home and flop. Being so tired all the time also
affects the memory to the point where I sometimes forget to come back to
something that I wanted to do. I was so tired the other day I could not
even remember how to log on my own bbs! Decided to take today off of
work to rest up a little and also because of minor reactions to a med
that my doctor gave me yesterday.

The sleep doc told me about such an operation and several other
possibilities in the preliminary conference to the sleep study. When he
called to tell me about the test results he indicated that the CPAP
machine to give oxygen while I sleep might be a solution for me, or
possibily a dental device to force the lower jaw forward, preventing the
throat from closing off.

It concerns me a little because I figured that my breathing capacity
should be above normal. Being a professional flute player for many
years should have developed the breathing system beyond most people. I
think that if it were not for that, my problem would be much worse.

True, the important thing is to find what is wrong and possible
corrective actions. What the cause is of the problems is another
matter. Figuring how to pay for it all is also another matter! This is
the first time that I have been covered by any type of health plan since
I left home in 1965, my dad was military so I was covered then but
outgrew it when I left for college. This will be a real experience in
trying to catch up with 30 years of medical neglect. I am wondering how
much the HMO is going to allow!!

Got them and had the energy to answer them earlier this morning. :-)

... Docs? Why would I want to look at the Docs. Nurses are better!
