I can understand that.  I wasn't all that crazy about "Gerald's Game" either. 
 As for "The Tommyknockers", it reminded me of one of those movies one sees 
on the Sci-Fi cable channel. ;-)  But now, I'm "into" the 4th Dark Tower 
book.  So far, it's great but I wouldn't expect less.  Only thing I'm afraid 
of is that Stephen will croak before he ever finishes the series... or I
