Well, here's hoping. The infamous Ninja Marketing Teams fielded by
Micro$oft have had things their own way for much too long.

What with the budget and production values of many television
commercials being higher than those of the actual televisions shows,
in self-defense I'm starting to follow marketing as a sort of
"spectator sport". This lets me enjoy watching quality television,
while partially inoculating me against those commercial "messages".

...However, unless there is some good competition, it's just
no fun watching a sport. Like, if you want to see some high-quality
television, pay special attention to commercials in the tightly fought
league of make up and shampoo marketing. So like, here's hoping that
Linux can start giving Micro$oft a run for it's money and thus help
to generate production of more quality television commercials.

Wow. That is not only true, but it also sounds almost poetic. Great
insight, there!

Speaking of marketing... I noticed a message from you in another
echo that mentioned your BBS telnet site. I maintain a BBS/telnet
listing that is posted to a few newsgroups and graces a couple web
sites. Would you have any objection to my including your site in
the listings?

Yours in the Way of the Moose, ...Steve
