| subject: | `Gunman`?! |
I'm sitting here listening to the news, and some wacko just went nuts (with guns) in a factory in Mississippi. Why the heck is it, when the news media refers to an incident of this type, that they always refer to the perp as "a gunman"? If he'd used a knife, would they call him "a knifeman"? How about other implements...? ---* Origin: TANSTAAFL BBS 717-838-8539 (1:270/615) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 270/615 150/220 379/1 106/1 2000 633/267 |
