TS> /Huh!/ Bad Ban Expired! What'cha gon', what'cha gon, what'cha gonna TS> do, when VERN HUMPHREY and I come for you? TS>>> Why don't the Dems tell the truth, such as re-naming themselves TS>>> the National Socialists? And they are. They promote mediocrity, TS>>> rather than excellence. VH>> Maybe they could have a Party Rally at Nuremberg. :-) TS> How far is that from Scranton or Poughkiepste? VH>> (After all, the Motion Picture Academy -- mostly liberals -- did VH>> honor Lenie Reisenthal (sp?) -- who filmed that rally.) TS> Probably for its historical value. Other than that, I cant guess. Liberal or not, she was brilliant. LIke Sergei Eisenstien, who did films for Lenin and Co. the art transcended the politics. Leni did the same thing for the Germans, Possibly some of the best cinematic work for it's time, if you factor out the politics of the situation. I've seen both works, when I was a film student, it's impressive. But, yeah, the message did get in the way of the medium, in both cases.. ---* Origin: Ray's Rocket Shop - Private-built, NASA Approved (1:3613/48) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 3613/48 1275 123/500 106/2000 633/267 |
