It turns out that it isn't important. They did tests and all, and there was no
failure to feed, even from magazines loaded since WWII.

Just keep them clean and they will be fine. I have never had a magazine problem
in my Taurus. I got a bad Colt magazine that wouldn't work with my Kimber, but
it wasn't due to spring loading.
