   Did I mention that the String library is also quite useful?
   I find that my Borland strstream library is deficient.
   I can initialize with no arguments, but cannot define my own
   buffer, which is supposedly acceptable, according to the
   documentation.

strstream Text;   // this works
strstream Text(txt, 128, ios::app);   // this won't link !!
   I should see if they have a patch for these things.
