Sounds like some of the rims used on WWII military trucks. You may well find 
sdome or at least a cource at the Military Vehicle Preservation Ass. annual 
convention in Portland, Oregon. Dates are 8-10 of August. The show/swapmeet 
is at the Portland Exposition Center.
