Hey Krista!
You were complaining because you cared about your mother! Nothin' wrong
with that! What gets me is all the complaining I do about the American
form of health care! I had the angiogram on Thursday of last week and I
saw the surgeon today (4/16). He was going to schedule the surgery for
Friday but I talked him into this coming Monday!
Of course, the draw back is that my insurance may decide that he charges
too much and I will have to pay back a lot of money to him.
So, I guess it's a toss up slow, free medical treatment -- versus fast,
expensive medical treatment. Today I'm glad it's fast!
BTW -- I'll be having double coronary artery bypass surgery and the
mitral valve will be replaced with a mechanical one. I'll be in the
hospital they tell me for a week and then three months at home
recuperating. God willing, I shall return soon! Best wishes for your
mother. I hope she gets the help she needs!!
