First of all, I want to make sure that you understand, I completely agree
with you about Carr. He is not a coach, he's a big fat joke.
However, I have to strongly disagree about the 78-79 team being the worst
ever. Their record, for starters wasn't nearly as bad. This current team
has no talent whatsoever, outside of Antoine Walker. No-one on their team
has a clue how to play defense. They have a hole in the middle you could
drive a Mack truck through, with standouts such as Szasbo and Marty (revenge
of the nerd) Conlon sharing time in the center spot. They can steal, but
they make up for it by never blocking shots or rebounding. Dino Radja has
been "sidelined" with a number of suspicious injuries.. if you ask me, he's
got a bad case of don't-want-to-play-for-this-crappy-coach-itis.. with
Barros out they have no solid threat from outside, except maybe Todd Day.
This team is bad, very very bad. Duncan would be a huge help, but they'd
better get someone good with that Mavericks pick as well, or it could be
another long season or two.
