I'm not sure that we should say that Ronald was "pretending" to be a
President.  After all, the man _was_ a professional.  In fact, I'm
sure that he studied all sorts of background before moving to
Washington and that he then used method acting!

Of course, even tho he was a professional, the "minor detail" is
whether or not Ronald Reagan was a skillful actor or just another
bad actor who got lucky and landed a big role.
