Boy, I don't know about that. You say you did have Polio but had the other
before it?. I only remember there being some people in the hosp. in okla.

that had Bulbar Polio, and most didn't make it, or else recovered completely;
and then there were the less ill ones, in most instances, that had "regular" 
Polio who had mostly leg paralysis. Some of the latter including me had upper
body paralysis which could look like Bulbar Polio, but my heart rate and 
lood
pressure stayed the same until I was in respiratory failure due to the
selective paralysis of my breathing muscles by the virus. Then they put me in
the iron lung. That's about how it was explained to me.
