Not sure if this is the appropriate forum, but I have a couple of
¨questions which are at least partially related to the JetStream:

1)  I have this situation (I think all modem users get it) where I ¨call a
number, the modem at the other end handshakes, but the ¨session then hangs
without receiving carrier.  It only happens ¨occasionally, but it costs a
wasted call as I have to reconnect to ¨calll again.  Is there any way to
either avoid this situation, or to ¨manually request a retrain when this
happens (I think this requires ¨the co-operation of the comms package (I
use Minicom 1.75 for linux.))

2)  Is there any way to enable protocol reporting strings in Minicom ¨1.75?
