Heh. Hmm...good question. I would *guess* they couldn't care less about what
day or year it is...now your VCII+ board might... :) I still wish they'd use
FLASHROMs in the silly things... :)

Well, we have a Toshiba receiver that's BEAUTIFUL! It never needs
tweaking...OTOH, it won't auto-switch to KU-band, so if you want to record
anything on KU-band, you *have* to have the remote...the Chapparal receivers
are nicer that way...but as I said, they have a tendancy to "drift" and about
once a week (approximately) the engineer will come in and auto-tweak the
dishes. We have never really had to inspect the dish mounts...I think in the
seven years I've worked at that facility, we've had ONE problem with
hardware..and that was a pole that rusted and broke.. :)
