I wish I could tell you what this is, but my only suggestion would be to
get him to one of the vet school hospitals, if you can. I'd start with
whatever veterinarian school there is closest to you to see if they have
an equine facility. Your ve should know where it is.
Do you feed supplements? If so, have you tried eliminating these? I
like John Rooker's idea of a nasal discharge culture. Have they ruled
out any kind of respiratory tract tumor or obstruction of some kind?
...kinda funny that this is only on one side....
How long ago did this start. Was it gradual or did it happen fast?
