Just hang in there, Meg ..... take a deep breath several times when you
feel that "need" for a ciggie .... then that feeling goes away.
Sometime I would start humming ...... sometimes I would get up and start
doing something (my house was the cleanest right after I quit smoking
)...... and, sometimes I got a cup of coffee (sounds strange but
that
seemed to help me more than anything else).
Just keep going -- it WILL get easier .. I promise!
