For everyone else reading this:  Shamazon went lame -- she had an abcess 
on
the bottom of her hoof that was VERY painful - putting weight on her hoof put
her in terrific pain.  So, we put some EASY BOOTS on herto  take the pressure
off the bottom of the foot, thus making it much more comfortable for for her.
    Sham's boots look funny -- and, at first she was RAELLY "high stepping"
(looked like a cat that you put booties on -- the way they walk ). 
BUT,
she got used to them in a hurry.  In fact, I think she really likes her new
"booties" .
    Now about Bren -- he has bad feet too -- and, his doctor prescribed some
boots that he must wear every night to bed -- he calls them his "moon boots"
...... SO, Bren AND Sham now have "moon boots" to wear
