Hi Everyone
    It sure has been a long time since I last posted a message on this
echo.
    This summer I had quite a scare.  I felt exhausted everyday, had
trouble sleeping, had mega-pains, etc., etc., etc..  I thought: "OK,
Diana, you have beaten the Post-Polio thing for 42 years, it has finally
caught up with you, huh!"
    By September I was getting a *little* bit better.  Then October
rolled around, and I went for 2 weeks' vacation in Playa Del Carmen,
with my brother, his girl friend, and my sister.  One day after we
arrived we had to be evacuated because of hurricane Roxanne.  After
that, the resort was half damaged, the pools full of sand, and half the
beaches had disappeared.  The travel agent offered us Club Med in Cancun
for the remainder of the 2 weeks.
    Before we left, I hopped over to Cozumel to do some scuba diving.
That place is really wrecked.  5 days after the storm, it still did not
have running water or electricity.  The coral reefs were smothered in
sand washed from the beaches, and the majority of fishes had relocated.
I don't think the diving conditions would fully recover for at least one
more year.
    I came home for one day and went to Vladivostok on business.  It was
a most interesting trip.  When I have more time I will tell you about a
side trip to Nierengrad.  It was totally hilarious.  If it wasn't true,
I'd had said someone made it up as a Hollywood comedy.
    The surprise is: after 3 weeks of no TV, no computers, no serious
work, no driving, and no phone calls, I feel so much better!  Lost some
weight, too, although I haven't weighed myself.
    So now I have another 2 business proposals in the works for Russia.
    Although you won't see too many messages from me, I will still be
lurking.
