subject: Weenend Ride ..

Saturday was a GORGOUS day for sure!! First thing Saturday morning Bren
and I took a ride ...... I rode SEDONA -- we rode to the end of our road --
then through thte greenhouse and over to Murray Road (they had graded Murray
road and it's really nice and smoothe now). Anyway, we rode all the way over
to
Route 78! (Bren and I were on Orange Detail ). We piced
everal
oranges along the way. SEDONA was EXCELLENT!!
Sunday morning Bren and I rode again -- this time we rode across to Murry
road and up towards Rt 80 ..... then, we rode alongside the Rt 80 from Murray
road over to Phillips Road ... I kept to the bottom (in the ditch) with
EDONA
but she was so good I really didn't have to do that. I'm really getting
uite
comfortable with SEDONA .
SEDONA is a wonderful trail horse -- and, I think I need to just ride
rom
time to time. SEDONA does do a little "spook" from time to time -- it's just
of a little hop - or "start" -- but after I talk to her she just calms right
down. She's calm most of the time -- walking with her head down -- then
ight
after her "start" she's again calm as a cucumber. She only shied a couple of
times on Saturday -- on Sunday's ride, she didn't shy at all -- in fact, she
kept rolling her ears back towards me to listen to what I was saying to her!
It was almost like riding "Baby" again ...... the more I ride
SEDONA, the more attached I'm becoming to her. Somtimes during
our ride I wondered if SEDONA was a 'reincarnation' of "Baby"
.
I was lucky becasue on both days this weekend my back felt pretty darn good!
The weather really cooperated with us too -- it was not too
hot -- not cold at all ..... it was a little windy from time to time (but it
was more BREEZE than wind ). I wish it could be like this ALL the time!!
