Mr X has finally taken his place in the herd -- he's now the Number 1 
horse
in charge ..... All he has to do is take a stance like you see pictures of
stallons "posing", turn his head slightly to the side and give a "that look" 
to
the other hroses -- they ALL pitty-pat around him now -- even Shamazon.
    Now, Shamazon is still "Boss Mare" .... but that's all. Little Mr X has
"grown up" and has taken his true place in the herd .
    Of course, *I* am still "boss horse" .... but X is "in charge" when I'm 
not
around ..... and everyone here gives him that distinction too!  I never 
thought
I would see the day when X actually "took over" -- I thought it would be a
fight between him and Shamazon (and hoping it would never come to that as 
she's
getting too old for that sort of stuff) ..... I'm so glad it's ended up
aimiable.
