I'm thinking we are lucky it took so long and even luckier it took so long for
them to bring out Vista. XP became a very standard target.

As for fast FC revs: I'd be more convinced of the benefit if Linux seemed more
polished than it does. I do not see signs of huge strides being made rapidly.
Though I could be wrong. Wasn't using Linux a few years ago. Maybe it has come
out of the dark ages rapidly.
