WY> Perhaps a second opinion is in order?
I had problems with my right hip like what you are describing. After
trying to exercise it away, then trying inactivity and varying hot and
cold packs to the hip, I was diagnosed with Burrsitis. I ended up
getting physical therapy and electrical stimulation at the end of each
session for a period of 2 months. While there was some residual
discomfort after therapy and some when I over exercise - I did find the
therapy helped. If the problem is persistant (which is what it sounds
like) then consider seeing an orthopedist to be sure no physical damage
has occured to the joint.
Hope this helps,
Kathleen
