I don't know how many are withing travelling distance of Richmond, Virginia, 
but I read in the "POLIO DEJA VIEW" that the Central Virginia Post-Polio 
Support Group is planning an all day Post-Polio conference at Sheltering Arms 
Hospital.  It is planned for March 30, 1996.  They have received commitments 
from three experts to speak at the conference.  Dr Laura Elicited, Director 
of the Post-Polio program at The National Rehabilitation Hospital in 
Washington, D.C., Hugh Gallagiter, author of several books including F.D.R's 
Splendid Deception, and Dr Jane Wootten, Director of The Post-Polio Clinic at 
Sheltering Arms Hospital.  They intend to also have 4 practical workshops in 
addition to the speakers.
