There IS a demo version of Montezuma's Return (it's not shareware in the
strictest sense of the word); it only gives you two levels, though those are
very long levels indeed (I have a tough time with the 2nd level's boss; help
me if you figure out how to beat him!). There's support for 3Dfx-based
accelerators, but that's it. You can likely find it on PC Gamer's Website
(www.pcgamer.com/main.html), or most any other general gaming site. It's
probably over 10 MB.
Here's an interesting thought... maybe 3D Realms could do a game like it!
Obviously, it would be a lot more graphically intense (while certainly nice,
MR is a bit simple), and have even more fun things to do, possibly including
multiplayer play.
