  Hey, I'll accept that as an answer.  If I had to guess, though, I imagine 
it's something similar to Jedi Knight in that there's a very active storyline 
that changes even through the gameplay itself.

  Wow, something we genuinely share in common!  Got a favourite truck?  I'd 
have to pick Bulldozer, off hand.  It's just so unusual compared to the 
classic designs or the "giant arms" trucks.
  Technically, MTM 1 didn't use EXACTLY the same engine.  They still had to 
bring it over to Windows and include things like Direct3D acceleration and 
Internet play.

  Oh well... just try and avoid the never-ending loop of first-person 
shooters!
