Well.. I got a Skipper W mare about ten years ago.. and while it took about
4-5 years to settle her down and retrain her (she was seriously abused).. I
went on to show her in WP both open and ama, Trail both open and Ama, Halter,
Showmanship, Western riding both open and Ama, Hunter/hack aka English flat
work, etc etc etc.
In the last four shows in 1991 we disrupted the points for the year in
Palomino and she's now a retired 4 time state champion and 5 time nation
honor roll horses. :)
Skipper W's are increbibly versitile.. and athletic.
Of course then her baby is coming along.. and with the baby's bloodlines..
she's going to be AWESOME! :)
