Has anyone had any experience with hemoturia (blood in urine) in a 
hemophiliac? My 9 yr. old had a very bad strep infection (exudate on 
tonsils,headache,stomachache,but no fever and looked pretty well). He 
complained of lower back pain and a few days later, the whole toilet bowl was 
red. I was surprised that the doctor at Children's only prescribed fluids. 
(and an antibiotic at my urging, since we had had several experiences with 
bleeding tonsils) Usually it takes a very good doctor to hold off on 
prescribing clotting factor until he discovers what might be causing symptoms 
in a child without hemophilia. I'm puzzled over how they know whether or not 
he is bleeding more than a non-hemophiliac in the same situation. The kid 
looks great and woke up singing, but his urine is only partly clearing so
