subject: Xorg cannot open /var/log/Xorg.0.log because I`ve booted rescue CD

From: Randall Parker

I do:

 > Xorg -config xorg.conf.new

Fatal server error:
Cannot open log file "/var/log/Xorg.0.log"

I know why: My hard disk / directory is currently mapped as
/mnt/sysimage/ because I've booted off a rescue CD.

How can I change to make my hard disk's top dir be / so that what is now at
/mnt/sysimage/var/log will instead be at /var/log?
