I have no problem entering \ (nor / which is auto converted to \ on enter) for directories, on this Windows 10 x64 machine in either cmd (my default) or powershell.

So I'm wondering what is different for you. Are you entering them in the directories window (which I tested)? Or somewhere else?

Is there something special about your windows? Spanish version? I'm using the English version here.

What's on the properties/options tab of your terminal? Here's what is on mine:

I suspect those are the windows defaults on my machine, but I don't know for sure...

Wilfred.
