That's probably because the Cobras are factory produced, the Saleens are
not.  I'm not saying you can't buy a new Saleen off of a dealership
somewhere.  But Ford has to first make the car, then send it to Saleen,
and then it goes back to the dealership first.  I'm not 100% sure but I
think the Cobras come from the factory without having to go to any
special aftermarket companies.  SVT is a part of Ford.
