W@ayne: Yes, please, to the phone # of the alt.med BBS.
My book, Chronology of an Illness, deals very subjectively with my three
diseases, diabetes, IgAN, and angina pectoris (rather the age-related onset
of atherosclerosis).
Your question, did my book include Parkinson's disease, triggered a train of
thought. Perhaps a future, better qualified writer-cum-medical researcher,
could collect all those diseases deemed my allopathic practitioners are
"progressive and irreversible."
If the subject interests you, I can suggest you read (most pulic libraries
carry it) Norman Cousins' brilliant book, Anatomy of an Illness, in which he
first defied the death sentence passed on him for his 500:1 terminal disease.

(BTW I chose Thinkware Publishers in 1985 because I was then so bedazzled by
computer technology. The bedazzlement has since somewhat given way to
grudging acceptance of high-tech typewriters for writers such as myself.)
