-> If I were in charge of it, I'd probably have some decent (i.e. more or
ess
-> complete) gameplay segments up and running on a sweet Pentium II & Voodoo

-> combo. Wouldn't have to be a "hands-on" exhibit, but I'd want it to be as
-> public as possible (this is a Duke Nukem game, after all!).
Not gonna happen. That's why you're not in charge of it. :)
-> Go bug one of the guys then, or just peek over their shoulder. I imagine
-> it's not that much of a threat to 3D Realms' financial future to disclose
-> what editor they're using. I DO know that some objects are being created
-> through 3D Studio Max (such as that one Hummer - is it still in the
me?).
I can find out anything I want. I generally don't want to, so I can hide
behind "I don't know" when people ask me. It's not my place to be telling
people about this stuff, so the less I know, the better.
-> Would this perhaps explain why you're so tight-lipped about the game? I
-> know that Miller and/or Broussard don't want you to reveal everything, but
I
-> suspect you just don't want to subject everyone to the "root canal" that
-> getting juicy info bits would likely become.
There are some people out there that just bug you and bug you for information
and don't know when to stop asking. That's one of the reasons why I avoid
saying things.
