since I have gotten no replies to half-dozen messages.
 
So I made up a reply to my own. :)
 
If you hadn't read Desperation, no wonder you didn't know that they were
both the story of Tak.
 
I thought that Desp. was much better than The Reg.  but that's just an
opinion.
 
Last week, I put Wiz. & G. on reserve at the local library, I saw the
pub. dates on the other books in the series and they weren't as far back
as i had thought.
 
I guess there was just so much in between that it seemed that way.
