Hi, Ray!

RG> Hi Wayne, what be happenin?
Listening to people in the know is better than listening to the
5th Symphony! :)
RG> I would suggest you continue to lightly exercise the shoulder joints
RG> in the morning when you arise, and possibly use heat to loosen up
RG> the joints. Gently swing your arm is a clockwise
RG> manner for about a minute, starting with little circles and
RG> gradually increasing the circles. Then do it in a counter-clockwise
Great advice! I was doing that in the shower, with the streams of
warm water raining on the shoulders alternately... feels good!
Now, I have a little problem understanding the "little" circles.
Does it mean stretching both arms out sideways, up to shoulder
levels, then make circles forward then backwards?
RG> manner. I would also do a pendulum swing with the arms, 12 to 6
RG> o'clock and then 3 to 9 o'clock. Your history is consistent with
RG> arthritis symptoms--stiffness in AM that gradually diminishes with
RG> activity.
Yes, but not just "stiffness", it is constantly sore 24 hours a day,
althought the sore is bearable. The sore is most severe on the
left shoulder when moving the left hand to touch the right shoulder.
RG> Too much activity or stress can also cause problems. An
RG> examination by a doctor would identify if that is really your problem.
I talked to the doctor sometime ago, but he didn't show any concern.
Perhaps a second opinion is in order?
RG> Have a nice day, Wayne!
Thanks, Ray, I hope you do too!
Regards,
Wayne
