Like Quake II and Hexen II? Sure, right... I'm not saying it's needed,
but it's really starting to hurt things. Ian Marigomen over in the PC gaming
echo didn't even know Duke Nukem Forever EXISTED, let alone what was in it.
How many more people will blow their budgets on "lesser" games just because
they didn't know why they should have saved for DNF instead?
JS> Not gonna happen, as I run the beta group.
Hey, that's not fair... if I were in the beta group, I'd probably keep
tight-lipped. I love keeping a secret, but I hate it when someone's keeping
one from me.

I know that BBSes are relatively neglected, but your company is still being
represented on them to dozens of people; just because they can't afford
Internet access doesn't mean they should be treated like yesterday's
leftovers.
JS> Because it will be better than them. Period. It's as simple as that.
JS> However, you won't find out until it's released.
And Rocket Science's developers were telling everyone about how good their
games would be without showing more than FMV, too! Ditto for the people who
made Rise of the Robots, and the Atari people who said they could get out a
good ET game. Unless we know WHY it should be a success and whether it's
living up to that promise in development, it's little comfort.
By the way, will we even get a demo? Or will we have to pay $64.95
Canadian plus tax to find out how good it is?
