  Sorry to jump in, but I found this little thread interesting!
  But aren't those also the people who'll generally trash anything if it 
doesn't meet their exacting standards (I've heard people trash Duke 3D and 
Jedi Knight!)?  I know that game developers can't always predict how soon a 
game will come out; there may be "wailing and gnashing of teeth" because I 
didn't get the game when I was hoping to get it, but I WON'T berate the 
developers for the delay.
  I think you can afford to give a "guesstimate" for a release date, at least 
to me (no, really!).  Just send a private message if you're concerned about 
leaks.  I won't blab (beyond my brother, anyways); I don't have any real 
incentive to spread the news (you'd catch me, as it is), I'd just like to 
have some tangible time frame to start saving money for.  It could even be 
something vague like "sooner than you think," "still a bit of work," or 
"don't start biting your nails just yet."
