 well, I don't know what happened; but he just wasn't writing the way he
 use to..I agree that something has been missing since before Gerald's 
me...
 I did not enjoy Desparation...and could not even read The Regulators...too
 boring for me...or just not what I was expecting from SK...
 I'm glad to hear the new Gunslinger is up to snuff with the old SK...it will
 make me want to get that book even more....I am waiting patiently to come
 in the mail...and considering we just had a mail strike, it might take 
while
 to get here..it'll be a good xmas present to me!
 Have you read all SK's books?  Some people say they don't like the 
unslinger
 series..can't get into it...can't imagine that...
The only other of SK that I didn't care for was The Greenmile Serial...didn't
 find it interesting enough, and didn't like the fact is was all cut up and
 we had to read it a little bit at a time...I hate waiting I guess
