Should go into /etc/X11/org.conf. At least on my system. On mine there is a
section like this:
# **********************************************************************
# Graphics device section
# **********************************************************************
Section "Device"
Identifier "ASUS"
Driver "radeon"
#VideoRam 65536
# Insert Clocks lines here if appropriate
EndSection
