No need for me to check. Largely from my visibility as an activist, which
as
led me to learn a lot of law and procedure for someone who thinks much of our
legal system is sick, I've helped people deal with defective ordinances and
cops
not obeying carry permit issuance law around my state (some people have a
mental
block over the concept that sometimes the cops are the crooks). One of those
ended up being a Southern Cal. NRA members council temporary visitor who I
helped out, and I ended up on the feeds of what his group is up to. That
includes some of the top firearms folks in the country using a closed
nternet
reflector, fortunately, for unfortunately they have a full plate of problems.

I got the info on that decision hot off the presses days ago. AAMOF, it was
sort of funny seeing someone in another echo saying "I never believe anything
Linda Thompson says" yesterday, when she was forwarding one of the releases I
had sent to about 80 RTKBA leaders here in CT 2 days before. Yup, no BS from
good old Linda there, as I was 2 links away from one of the lead Plaintiff
attorneys seeing the same info days earlier.
Here in CT we're watching that closely, as some politicians we've since given
the local version of DF8 treatment passed a copycat of that here several
ears
back, with most of the same flaws. The CA news was good, though we have to
note
it will likely see one more level of court action before being final.
RA-ILA
hadn't seriously reviewed it yet as of Friday afternoon. Previous state
ourt
action here on the CT copycat had very mixed and ultimately disappointing
results, though there are angles not previously pursued which the CA case
could
make more hopeful.
