Once I have burned a DVD is there a way to:

1) Calc sha1sum for what is on the DVD? I know how to do that for a .iso file:
 > sha1sum FC6DVD.iso

2) Compare a DVD with a .iso file to see if the DVD got exactly what the
iso file has?

I realise that the burner is probably checking to see if it wrote
correctly. But sometimes I want to test the same DVD disk in another
computer to see if the other drive can read it okay.
