NT>> Desperation was an excellent book...perhaps its you ;))
S> Yep, that's what everyone keeps telling me:-< Maybe I've outgrown
S> SK?
NT> Hehe,i much preferred Desperation to The Regulators, which i thought
NT> was a bit shallow. I did however like the way both stories were linked.
I only got through Desparation...tried a few chapters of The Regulators;
didn't
like it and gave it up...
S>> I think his best all around book is "The Stand"..
NT> Yep,definately *one* of the best...
Ok...so what other of his books, do you rate up there with "The Stand"
NT>
NT> Yeah,i`m sure its the same but i never saw it on TV so can`t be 100%
NT> certain.
NT>> Hmm...was it SK that wrote "The Langoliers"? Can`t remember now
NT>> but that was a stunningly good short story IMO,and the video of
NT>> that was surprisingly good too...
I saw "The Langoliers" also on tv..see, good things come to all who wait
NT> Someone else already confirmed it in another message...i was well
NT> impressed with the video.Going by some of SK`s other film/video
NT> releases i wasn`t holding out much hope but both the missus and I sat
NT> there glued to it and she doesn`t actually read Sk at all.
Well see, some of his stuff is good and some just isn't! You don't have
to be a SK fan to enjoy his stuff...the movies always seem better than
the books...I think they just change things around a lot...
TTYL....Stewy
