I've been off the air for a few weeks and, if you replied, I've missed it!
To recap....
 Smethurst is my wife's maiden name and her family seem all to be from
 Farnworth, Little Hulton & Walkden (ie here!); which is c8 miles west of
 Manchester.
 Does it look good?
