I keep expecting to see Warren King jump into this thread. He gave up his
braces some time ago and says he's much happier in the W/C. I'm not very
good with change to begin with and this one is one of the hardest I've tried
yet.
Some sneaky way to get met to post! I think you wanted this in this area,
rather than the one I found it. :-)

A lot of the convenience stores around here have drive through windows. I
sometimes get my gas and then drive around to the window. I know that they
are thinking I'm going to drive off without paying, but it serves them right.
Since Ardmore is a small town, we still have a few full service stations and
that's where I usually go.
Bob...
This is one of the hardest problems to solve with using the wheelchair. I
have had to just establish a good relationship at one station so that they
would recognize my car and come out to give service. I remember going to 10
different stations one morning last winter when it was cold and rainy trying
to get served! Flashed the HP hanging card and watched the attdenants
pretend the didn't see me. Ended up having to find one that at least
had a roof over the pumps and get out and do it myself. Those islands make
it very difficult. Had to punch the buttons using the end of the gas nozzle.
Regards, Warren
